Privacy notice

How Computer Vision Systems Limited handles personal data, on this website and in the work we do for clients.

This is a structured draft, not a finished notice. The headings and content below cover what UK GDPR requires, but it needs review by someone qualified before publication — and the retention periods and lawful bases must be confirmed against what you actually do.

Who we are

Who we are

Computer Vision Systems Limited, trading as weAutomate, company number [required], registered office [required]. ICO registration [required].

For anything in this notice, contact [privacy email required].

Two different roles

On this website we are the controller. We decide what we collect from visitors and why.

In client work we are usually a processor or sub-processor. Where we handle personal data inside a client’s systems, the client or their customer is the controller. We act only on documented instructions, under a written agreement, and this notice does not govern that data — the controller’s own notice does.

What we collect on this website

WhatWhyLawful basis
Name, organisation, email, and what you tell us about your workTo respond to your enquiry and prepare for a callLegitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you initiated
Server logs, including IP addressSecurity and diagnosing faultsLegitimate interests — keeping the site available and secure

[Confirm before publishing: whether any analytics or third-party scripts are in use. If they are, they need listing here and a cookie banner is required.]

Cookies

This website sets no tracking or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers when you load a page.

[If you would rather avoid that request entirely, the fonts can be self-hosted — it is a small change and removes this paragraph.]

How long we keep it

[Retention periods required. Suggested starting point: enquiries kept for 24 months from last contact, server logs for 90 days. Confirm against what you actually do.]

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We use suppliers for hosting and email who process data on our behalf under contract.

[List the actual sub-processors: hosting provider, email provider, anything else.]

Where it is held

[Confirm hosting location. If any processing happens outside the UK, the transfer mechanism must be named here.]

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to us processing it, or ask us to restrict what we do with it. Contact [privacy email required] and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled something, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date below. Last updated [date required].
